Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route - 7 Days

Day 1 - Londorosi Gate to Forest Camp
Experience the beauty of the rainforest from Londorosi Gate to Forest Camp hike. Our expert guides will take you on a 6 km journey through the lush greenery, as you hike from an elevation of 7,800ft to 9,500ft. Along the way, you'll have the chance to marvel at the diverse habitat and wildlife that make their home in the forest.
Day 2 - Forest Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Another unforgettable adventure from the Forest Camp to Shira 1 Camp. The tour covers 8km and elevates from 9,500ft to 11,500ft, taking approximately 5-6 hours. As we leave the rainforest behind and enter the Moorland habitat, you will experience the beauty of nature in a whole new way. Our experienced guides ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable trek.
Day 3 - Shira 1 Camp to Moir Hut
Embark on an unforgettable adventure from Shira 1 Camp to Moir Hut, where you'll hike a distance of 14 km, reaching an elevation of 11,500ft to 13,800ft. This unique journey will take you through the stunning Moorland habitat, where you'll experience some of the most breathtaking views you've ever seen. With a hiking time of 5-7 hours, you'll have plenty of time to take it all in and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 4 - Moir Hut to Barranco Camp
This is an incredible hiking adventure through the semi-desert terrain of Moir Hut to Barranco Camp. Over a distance of 7 km, you will experience an elevation change from 13,800ft to 13,000ft and be awed by the unique beauty of the area. Our expert guides will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience, spending 4-6 hours trekking among some of the most stunning views in the world.
Day 5 - Barranco to Barafu Camp
Experience the raw beauty of Africa's Alpine Desert from Barranco to Barafu Camp. We'll start our day with a hearty breakfast before heading out on a challenging eight to ten-hour hike, covering nine kilometers and reaching an elevation of 15,000ft at Barafu Hut. Here, we'll rest, refuel, and prepare for the most exhilarating part of the journey - summit day. The ultimate adventure and an experience of a lifetime.
Day 6 - Barafu - Summit - Mweka Camp
Are you ready to conquer one of the world's most impressive peaks? Experience the ultimate adventure. With an elevation of 15,300ft to 19,345ft (and down to 10,000ft) and a distance of 5 km ascent/12 km descent, this tour will challenge even the most experienced hikers. But don't worry, you'll have our expert guides to support you every step of the way. Dinner and overnight at Mweka Camp
Day 7 - Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
Our Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate tour is the perfect way to complete your climb. The hike back to the park gate takes only 3-4 hours and offers stunning rainforest views along the way. Once you reach the gate, climbers can register their names and details and receive their summit certificates. Our expert guides and porters will sing for you with traditional Kilimanjaro songs, and the jovial mood will make you feel proud of your accomplishments.
