This route uses mountain huts as a means of accommodation (No need for Tents). It may take 1 Day to trekking to the first hut - Mandara Huts or 5 to 6 Days to reach the summit
Day 1 - Transfer to Marangu Gate the start the trek to Mandara Hut

Day 2 - Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Another hiking adventure from Mandara Huts to Horombo Huts with our experienced trekking crew. This journey will take you through the stunning moorland habitat, covering a distance of about 12km in 6 hours. This hike is worth the effort, with breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience. Day 3 - Acclimatization day at Horombo Huts (Optional)
When it comes to reaching new heights, acclimatization is key. That’s why we offer an extra day at Horombo Huts for our adventurers, who can take advantage of the opportunity to explore the village of huts perched on a small plateau. With a vibrant atmosphere of hikers, guides, and porters, this bustling destination offers an exciting opportunity to meet both ascending and descending hikers and share your experiences.
Day 4 - Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts
This is another unforgettable journey from Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts with our expert tour guides. Covering a distance of about 10km over 6 hours, you'll experience the rugged beauty of the Alpine Desert like never before. Our team is committed to delivering an exceptional experience, ensuring that you walk away with memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 5 - Kibo Huts - Summit - Horombo Huts
Our summit attempt package is not for the faint of heart. We’ll take you from Kibo hut (4700m) to Uhuru Peak (5895m) and back down to Horombo hut (3720m), covering 6km of challenging terrain. Hike time is 7-8 hours to reach the peak, followed by a 4-hour descent. With our experienced guides, we’ll help you conquer the summit and make memories that will last a lifetime. Day 6 - Horombo Huts to Marangu Gate
This is a stunning descent from Horombo huts to Marangu gate, and sign your name and details at the gate. Our tour guide will lead you down the beautiful mountain terrain for six hours, providing a safe and unforgettable experience. For successful climbers, we award summit certificates. Those who reach Gillman's Point (5685m) receive green certificates, and those who make it to Uhuru Peak (5895m) will be awarded gold certificates.
Finish your Kilimanjaro climb in style with our unforgettable farewell celebration.
